Christmas is one of the most popular traditions around the world. Millions of people celebrate by putting up a Christmas tree. But when is the right time to put up your tree? While it may seem obvious, the answer can greatly vary! Some say to wait until December 1st before putting up your Christmas tree. Halloween and Thanksgiving have passed, and it is finally December, “Christmas season”. Others suggest putting them up at the beginning of Advent (the fourth Sunday before Christmas), this year that would fall on November 27th. Another popular tradition, very similar to that belief, is putting up the tree the day after Thanksgiving. There is no “Christmas tree law”, so you can set your Christmas tree up as early as you would like. Some even set there’s up as early as November 1st!
